20MnV6 / E470 Seamless Tubes for the Machining Industry

Delivery Programme and Technical Terms of Delivery

All OD 30-250 dimensions are subject to the EN 10294-1 norm. Larger dimensions can be delivered on request.

Applications

The hot rolled seamless hollow bars are typically processed on CNC controlled lathes, drilling machines, and similar equipment for manufacturing a wide variety of cylindrical formed hollow rotary parts including:

Crane construction parts
Hollow shafts
Cylinders
Rolls

Dimensions up to an external diameter of 60 mm are usually cold rolled and undergo an annealing process to achieve the same condition as hot rolled hollow bar.

The application of tight tolerances with guaranteed clean turning dimensions offers reliability and reduced turn time. The excellent material quality E470/20MnV6, smooth internal and external surfaces, standard straightness of 1:1000 mm, and high weldability provide an excellent alternative to conventional thick-walled steel tubes and round full bars.
