Product Description
Pipe Clamp T-Shaped Pipe Support
Function and Effect
  • Support Pipeline Weight The fundamental function of pipe supports is to bear the weight of the pipeline, internal media, insulation layers, and other components. This prevents pipeline sagging or deformation due to self-weight, ensuring proper spatial positioning and alignment while maintaining normal pipeline system operation.
  • Limiting Pipeline Displacement Most pipe supports (excluding spring supports and certain sliding/rolling types) provide displacement restriction capabilities. This maintains system stability by preventing excessive shaking, deflection, or torsion during operation, thereby avoiding collisions with other equipment or building structures.
  • Compensation for Pipeline Deformation Sliding supports, rolling supports, and spring supports accommodate displacement to effectively compensate for pipeline deformation caused by thermal expansion, pressure changes, and foundation settlement. This reduces internal stress concentration, extends pipeline service life, and lowers maintenance costs.
  • Damping and Buffer Effect Spring supports and specially designed configurations provide damping and buffering functions. They absorb and attenuate vibration energy from fluid pulsation and mechanical sources, reducing impact on pipelines, equipment, and surrounding structures while improving system reliability and minimizing noise pollution.
Material Selection
Material Type Characteristics & Applications
Metal Materials Carbon Steel: Cost-effective with high strength; suitable for general industrial and civil pipeline systems.

Stainless Steel: Excellent corrosion resistance; ideal for food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and other demanding applications.

Alloy Steel: Enhanced strength with specialized properties including high-temperature and high-pressure resistance; used in petrochemical and other specialized industrial systems.
Non-Metallic Materials Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE): Extremely low friction coefficient with superior chemical stability; commonly used as sliding material in sliding bearings.

Rubber: Excellent elasticity and vibration absorption properties; used for shock-absorbing components or as isolation layers between pipes and supports to reduce vibration transmission and noise.
