SEAMLESS
The complex chemical and physical properties of the various grades of carbon steel pipe
allow for a broad range of service usage. American Piping Products has the right grade,
size and price to meet your requirements including A/SA106 Grade B/C and API 5L X-42
through X-70. A/SA106 Grades B & C are utilized for services ranging from structural
supports to steam drum headers with temperature ranges up to 800°, API 5L X Grades
42 through 70 are utilized for the water and petroleum industry to transport liquids or
as platforms on offshore rigs.

4130 PIPE
Seamless pipe is tubing made to the pipe schedule. Alloy pipe in the power industry
generally refers to A335 material, but in the oil and gas market 4130 pipe is used.
This product is made to the pipe schedule but uses A519-4130 as the controlling
seamless specification. The material is then heat-treated to L80, P110 or the
customer’s specified properties. This material is easily welded and is generally used
for above-ground applications and utilizes the fittings, flanges and other piping
components with the same 4130 chemistry. This product is a good alternative
to replace X65 through X80 piping items where the usage or repair is too small for
mill production.

Name : WB36 (T36/P36, 15NiCuMoNb5-6-4) HOT ROLLED TUBES FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE APPLICATIONS

Definition :

WB36 is a bainitic Ni-Cu-Mo steel micro-alloyed with niobium. It is also known as 15NiCuMoNb5-6-4 according to EN 10216-2 and VdTÜV377/2, T36 according to ASTM A 213 and P36 according to ASTM A 335.

Application:

This grade is mainly used in high-pressure, medium-temperature feedwater lines (close to 400 °C).

Challenges :

WB36 exhibits excellent high-strength properties up to 450 °C. The reduced weight of the feedwater piping components compared with conventional carbon steel allows improved resistance to thermal fatigue and very good heat transfer.

Key advantages of Best Pipeline include:

  • Production and delivery of our own steel products, especially boiler pipes made of X10CrMoVNb9-1 and X10CrWMoVNb9-2 grades as well as other materials designed for high-temperature service
  • Design of the boiler parts, pipeline elements, Y-fittings and T-fittings
  • Prefabrication and assembly of boiler and industrial piping
  • Services:
    • technical consultations on preparing delivery, production and assembly contracts/agreements in order to provide a constant control/inspection over fulfilling the requirements listed in the “Delivery Technical Conditions” and “Construction and Commissioning Requirements”.
    • inspection and control over technological processes as per contracts/agreements in order to assure their realisation within the agreed time, cost reduction and quality of the final product
    • examination and testing followed by the final acceptance performed by the Notified Bodies. Additional creep tests of materials designed for the high-temperature service
    • free of charge preliminary examinations of pipelines in service using a portable SFM to determine their life assessment and evaluate the necessity of repairs, modernisation or further investments.
